At Heritage Rug Co., we take pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our rugs. Please review our return policy carefully before placing an order.
In-Stock Rugs
We accept returns on in-stock standard size rugs within 30 days of delivery, provided the rug is:
Unused and uninstalled
In original condition
Free from damage, stains, pet hair, or odors
48-Hour Notification Requirement
If you believe there is an issue with your order, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery to initiate a return.

Custom-Size Rugs
All custom-size rugs are made to order and are final sale.
Custom rugs are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund, except in the event of a manufacturing defect or shipping damage reported within 48 hours of delivery.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your rug arrives damaged or defective:
Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
Provide clear photos of the packaging and rug
We will work with you and the carrier to resolve the issue
Do not discard packaging until the claim process is complete.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error on our part.
Rugs must be returned using appropriate protective packaging.
Shipping charges are non-refundable.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected:
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method
Refunds typically process within 5–7 business days
If a returned rug shows signs of use or damage, a refund may be denied or partially issued.
Order Cancellations
Orders may be canceled before production begins
Once a custom rug enters production, it cannot be canceled
